With the longest beach on the island, Playa D'en Bossa is the kind of resort that is perfect for beach bunnies who want to spend all day every day soaking up the golden Ibiza rays. The length of the beach means that it caters for pretty much everyone, with one end being much quieter and more subdued, and the other offering pumping music and plenty of drinking and fun in the sun. As a result all types of holidaymakers visit Playa D'en Bossa each year, from families looking for a relaxing getaway, to clubbers who want to spend as little time as possible in their hotel beds.

The long golden sandy beach is the focus of Playa D'en Bossa and covered with parasols and sun loungers so there's no need to risk spreading out a towel and getting sand in your sandwiches. You can get involved in a wide range of watersports - learn how to windsurf, rent a catamaran, kite surf or learn how to dive. Or if you'd rather keep your feet on dry land there are plenty of beach volleyball games to join and show off your spectacular serve.

The resort is very beach focused but there's still plenty to do if you don't want to spend all day, every day baking in the sun. There are several play and amusement parks with trampolines and bouncy castles, electric racing cars and mini golf, as well as ten-pin bowling and a rodeo. If you're a fan of the novelty factor (or you've eaten too much paella to make it on foot) there's a little train that ferries holidaymakers to and from each end of the beach. For those that like to be active you can take a walk along the length of the 200 metre beach to the watchtower at the end where you will have a wonderful view up along the coast on one side, and on the other you'll discover a little bay, perfect for a secret visit with a picnic.

It's fair to say that Playa D'en Bossa isn't a culinary hotspot, but the resort caters to most tastes when it comes to food and there's always somewhere to get something hot and filling most hours of the day or night. There's all typical types of holiday food that we all love to indulge in - pizza, chips, Tex-Mex or Chinese, as well as some restaurants serving more local dishes and fresh fish. Many of the beach bars are also a good option for light snacks and smaller tasty treats.

It's for the beach bars that many of Playa D'en Bossa's yearly visitors pick this resort over others on the island. Bora Bora is a legend in it's own right, just under the Jet Apartment complex, and has a number of equally chilled out imitators. The club Space is also located at Playa D'en Bossa if you want some Sunday clubbing and the resort is also an easy hop from the nighttime delights of Ibiza Town (only ten minutes drive away) and all the major clubbing destinations on the island.
