Best Destinations to Travel in USABY: Georage Gates | Category: OTHERS | Submitted: 2010-07-15 00:08:07
I have trekked all over the world, and have many fond memories of my time in United Kingdom, New Zealand and Australia. But as soon as I had a family, my travel needs changed and I looked for a different type of adventure. This is when I packed up the kids and chose the United States as our travel destination. From the Statue of Liberty and White House, Broadway and Wall Street, Disney World and Hollywood, here are some of the destinations which made our trip to the US so pleasurable. I hope your family can enjoy them too! Walt Disney World - Florida - Disney World is a fantastic place to visit. Needless to say, the kids loved it! With 5 theme parks, 2 water parks, Downtown Disney and much more, there is something for everyone to enjoy in this world of pure play. Hawaii - Hawaii is a truly a delight. Each Hawaii Island is different from the next. Some sites to explore in Hawaii include walking near the Kilauea Volcano, snorkeling at Molokini Crater, and driving around the beautiful Kauai. Boston, Massachusetts - If you're interested in learning, Boston should be on your itinerary. Try the Museum of Science and the Boston's Children's Museum just to name a few. Las Vegas - Sin City was a place of fun, even for a travelling family. The drive from Los Angeles only added to the experience of being in the biggest casino city in the world. Pearl Harbor - This was where we were able to get up close to the Navy ships. More importantly, its memorials offered rich insight into the bombing of Pearl Harbor. San Antonio River Walk, Texas - The River walk in San Antonio provided entertainment for the whole family. The kids loved the water parks, while we adults were able sit back and enjoy southern dining in one of the many restaurants to choose from. Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Tennessee - This wonderful piece of landscape gave us everything. Park roads, wonderful mountain scenes, waterfalls, exciting wildlife, nature trails and towns provided a welcome escape from the city smoke. Niagara Falls, New York - The waterfalls were unbelievable. A guided tour of the area made the kids understand the real beauty of the falls. We'd love to be back there. Times Square, New York City - Times Square is the busiest spot in New York, known for its Broadway theatres, cinemas and lit-up signs. We had a great time checking out Midtown Manhattan. This was a small collection of the places our family loved from our holiday in the United States. Our trip was made possible by having the flexibility of our own transport. Compare US car rental here. I know all these places are worth to travel but there are much more places to explore in USA. I recommend you to take a car on rent in USA to make your trip more wonderful.
