Sweden is located on the coast of Baltic Sea, being the fifth largest country of the entire European Continent and the largest one between Northern countries. This country is connected with its neighbors, Norway, Finland and Denmark, and together with them, it offers, wonderful tourist attractions. It hosted the first ice hotel and always provides great services and the highest living standards.

As well, you should know that Sweden is not a great location for natural expeditions, but it still provides an amazing natural and human balance, proving to the rest of the world that its population respects nature. Here, you can visit tremendous tourist locations and phenomena, as the northern aurora cascade or the Sweden Ice Hotel. A Sweden tour is able to provide you with wonderful sceneries, as the southern shore with its whitish beaches, or its coastline, with a small paradise of some green islands, while, others, are totally barren, or visit the urban life in any of its crowded cities, as Stockholm, Malmo or Gothenburg. Its cities provide an important aspect of culture and historical facts through numerous museums, parks, rare hospitality and wonderful sites. As in any other locations you ever visited, you can also try local delis and be, for a short time, impressed by their charm.

Sweden offers great outdoor opportunities and, the most interesting one is Siljan Lake. This wonderful tourist attraction is situated in Dalarna province, surrounded by many dense forests and small hills. Siljan Lake has a medium-size of about 290 square meters, while its depth is of 60 meters. Siljan Lake is a very popular holiday attraction and many tourists are enjoying packages, all including boat trips between towns.

Created after a meteoritic impact, 360 millions years ago, Siljan Lake offers you the chance to try water activities, as paddling canoes. It is a very popular summer destination hosting many outdoors festivals and activities. You can opt for outdoor activities as walking or cycling nearby, on different routs, extending for about 300 km. As well, during summers, many tourist agencies offer packages, including luxury sightseeing cruises with lunch and dinner, and you can visit some main towns on the river, as Leksand, Rattvik and Mora. Additionally, in July there is a wonderful festival, named Musik vid Siljan. This festival offers music genres for different age groups and tastes. You can choose the best programs fitting your taste from over 60 music schedules.

As we all know, vacations are our only times for relaxation, but many of us understand it differently. While some of us relax reading a book, watching a favorite television show or going for a walk, others prefer to take part in-group activities or experience adventures; and Siljan Lake offers you all of these. You can feel the excitement being active in one of the trotting races, fishing, bathing or canoeing, in one of the area's lakes. As well, you can spend your time hiking on Siljan paths or walk around on different alleys and pick mushrooms or berries, in the nearby forests. As well, you can try the golf courses, go for horse riding or enjoy one of the tourist tours. In the winter, you can check its challenging ski slopes, skiing on the wild hills.

If you choose golf games, you should know that there are six golf courses, varying in levels of difficulty. Golf clubs offer advantageous packages, including accommodation and a pre-booked schedule. In many cases, for golf-addicted persons, the accommodation is right next to the golf courses, for an easier approach. Usually, the season starts in May and finishes in October. More, there are many relaxing programs, including visits to the local spas, where you can try different skin treatments and massages.

As well, if you love shopping - and who does not? - You can shop around the area, as Siljan provides you with pleasant shopping markets, being entertained by local artists and musicians. If you are looking for any shopping center, you are going to be disappointed, as the only shops you are able to find are those small types, where you can usually find anything you wish and sellers cuts you great deals.
