Aarhus, Denmark. It is a great location, with a wonderful climate, with no extremes such as very high or very low temperatures. The summer months bring average temperatures of twenty degrees and the winter brings temperatures around one degree, which means that the climate is more similar with central European countries, than to Scandinavian cities. If you like sunny days, then you should visit Aarhus on summer, since May until August, or September. As a demanding tourist that you are, for sure you wish to know what Aarhus tourist attractions has to offer. There are many things that you can see and do. First, you should definitely visit one of the important Aarhus tourist attractions, Modelbane Europa, which presents many train railways, passing through high mountains, dark tunnels, great bridges and deep valleys. Besides these locations, you can also visit the local Botanical Garden where you are going to be entertained by adults and children. There you can see hot houses with many tropical plants species. City Hall is another great destination. Its wonderful architecture is plated with marble, from Norwegian. Its 60 m tower offers you a great view of the entire area. More, if you visit Aarhus in August or September, you might have the occasion to enjoy a ten days festival, the largest festival from that location. It presents another theme from one year to another, as symphonic concerts, operas, recitals, theatre, jazz or folk concerts and more. Even if you are not a religious person, you still should visit one notable Aarhus tourist attractions, the Church of Our Lady. It is a wonderful place, with unique architecture, as gothic frescoes and a stunning altar, handcrafted. Another unique feature is given by a small church found beneath of the first church's choir and now, these pieces are presented as a church within another church. As well, you can visit wonderful locations as concert halls, houses of artists, museums, universities, wildlife parks, different festivals within the region and many more. You can also do many things, besides visiting Aarhus tourist attractions, as biking on one of those many biking tour routes of the city. In conclusion, Aarhus is the ideal city for any holiday, as you can have the vacation you wish: cultural and relaxing, funny and exciting, family or individual, based on personal preferences.
