Worlds Tallest Tower in Dubai - Burj Dubai skyscraper

I very much doubt anyone in Dubai was really all that shocked when Emaar announced a few years back that it would be building the tallest building in the world. After all, Dubai has become very much accustomed to groundbreaking real estate projects, with the likes of the Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina and The World Dubai.

However now that construction on the Burj Dubai is coming a lot closer to completion, no one can deny how impressive this freehold real estate project actually is. The centerpiece of the massive Downtown Dubai development, the Burj Dubai already towers above the surrounding skyscrapers. Although not yet completed, the tower is already recognized as the world's tallest building and free standing structure! Growing substantially taller with every day that passes, the tower will no doubt become another symbol of Dubai along side the Palm Trilogy and The Burj Al Arab Hotel.
