You must have two forms of ID (Passport, Drivers License, or Birth Certificate)
Have picture taken by FLO^TM^ agent.
A scan is made of your fingerprints.
An iris scan is taken of your eye.
When the enrollment process is completed, your information is sent off to TSA for a thorough background screening.
Upon approval, you will receive your card in about 2-3 weeks. It is ready for use upon receipt. At the airport, you just look for the sign that says registered user, put your card in, and confirm your identity with your fingerprint or iris.
