You can travel between festival locations, most well-known being Manila, the capital city, followed by Baguio, a great location, considered as being the capital for the summer season of the archipelagos, Cebu City, the Spanish, old-colonial city, Davao City and many more. Besides all these great cities, there are numerous other splendid locations, wonderful for any vacation, as Boracay Beach, Bohol Island, Palawan Islands, Corregidor Island, and the islands of Pangasinan, the Banaue Rice Terraces and, in Vigan, the UNESCO World Heritage. Another thing you should know is that you need a visa to visit Philippines. This is in case you wish to stay in Philippines for a longer period. All foreign citizens need to present their passports, which should be valid for a period of minimum six months and a ticket that stats the date of returning to the place they are coming from or for their next destination. In this case, they are allowed to stay and visit the country for twenty-one days. In case that someone needs an extension of the twenty-one day period, he/she can approach the Bureau of Immigration and get the extension without any issues, after paying a fix fee. In the end, if it is wished the extension for a little bit more, it is mandatory to ask for a visit visa. Are you interested in their landscape and sceneries? If yes, then you probably should know that all of this archipelago's islands are mountainous, having a volcanic origin. These islands are a part of the Pacific Ring of Fire, and, they detain the highest peak of that Asian area, in Mindanao, Apo Mountains. The second peak, as highness, is the Luzon, Pulog Mountains. As well, this wonderful archipelago provides you with many rivers, streams, greenish plains and splendid beaches with white, fine and warm sand that you can enjoy by spending your time visiting them. Its coastline is impressive, stretching for more than 36,000 kilometers. Traveling within the entire archipelago is not difficult. It is true that it can be tiring and demanding. There, you can experience all kind of transportation facilities, from planes to rickety public transport. Using their vast range of transportation, you can reach any location by ferries, airplanes, taxis, buses, and rental cars, even jeeps, which you can find on any island. Their national language is Pilipino and, next to it, the second official one, is English. English is used and known by most locals being the teaching language, in any form of high education. They currently speak five hundred seventy dialects, major and minor included. As well, their religious aspect is vast, as in many other countries. Most of them are Romano-Catholics, and, the rest of them, belong to some other Christian religions, Buddhist or Moslems.
